Before you can use this functionality, ensure your SMTP configuration have been configured. Refer to SMTP Settings for details.

To export and send by email:

  1. Right-click on your existing model version or right-click in the diagram for the model-version and select Export> Export to 3D XML and send by email.
  2. If there are no contacts, the No contacts stored dialog is displayed. Click OK to add contacts.
  3. On the Email contacts dialog, click to Add contact.
  4. Enter Name and Email address of your contact and click OK.
  5. Click OK once the required email contacts have been added.
  6. From the Select email address dialog, select the required To and Cc email addresses and click OK.
  7. The diagram will be exported and sent by email to the selected email recipients.
