Central to WhereScape 3D is the ability to display the data you will see in the entity you're designing.

1. To display the data on an entity right-click on the table in the tree, or header part of the table in the diagram, and choose Query then Display data or Display all data.

   
   
   

   There are two options when displaying the data: Display data shows the columns in that table. Display all data shows all the columns from all the joined tables. However, when a query has been set on the table that query is executed in both cases.

   If multiple source sets have been configured, you will be asked to select a source set. Select a Source set from the drop-down list and click OK to proceed.
    
   If the connection to a referenced database is currently closed you will be asked if you want to open it. Click Yes to proceed.
   

2. The query will be run and displayed, along with the result set, in a new query tab in the Workspace. Refer to Query Tabs for details.
