To create a view of a table in the diagram...

1. Right-click on the header part of the table and select Table>Create view.
   
2. The Create view dialog is displayed.
   
3. Complete the following:
   • Enter a View name and click the Update button to update the surrogate key.
   • To Remove a prefix or a suffix from all columns, enter the syntax you want to remove and click Apply.
   • To Add a prefix or a suffix to all columns, enter the syntax you want to add and click Apply.
4. The Table View will be displayed in the diagram.
   
   
   

   The eye icon in the top left corner of the table denotes a Table view.
