To validate the data profiling results by entity:

Right-click on the source version, schema, group or entity in the repository tree, select Data profiling result>Validation criteria.

- In the left pane, select Entity from the Metrics drop-down list and then select the required metric. Change the list by selecting the required Schema, Entity, Attribute, Profiling result, Profiling validation and Validates values from the drop-down lists.
- In the above example, the Profiling validation column is blank. To edit or delete profiling validation for the selected row, use the relevant icons at the top right of the dialog. For more information on writing profiling validation see Metric Validation Code Syntax.

To validate the data profiling by entity from the diagram, right-click on the entity in the diagram and choose Profiling result, then Validation criteria.

or right-click on a blank space in the diagram and choose Data profiling result, then Validation criteria.

In the dialog that follows, select Entity from the Metrics drop-down list.
