When installing Precise for SQL Server, in a Precise version prior to version 8.0, you are asked to use a login account that has System Administrator privileges. Although it is strongly recommended to run Precise for SQL Server with a System Administrator user, in Precise version 8.0 and higher, it is also possible to use a less powerful login account.

In any case there are a few privileges that you need to grant to that login account:
