- Back up the LANSA for i libraries and LANSA home directory before starting the upgrade. LANSA default home directory is /LANSA_<xxxpgmlib>.
- You can omit partition libraries as the LANSA upgrade does not change any objects in the partition libraries.
- If Visual LANSA Frameworks (VLF) is installed and you are planning to upgrade to a new version then consider backing up that partition's library.
