3.5.1 Access Route Name

Mandatory.
The name that is to be assigned to the access route.
This name is used for identification purposes only.

Rules

• The name specified must be unique within the current table definition.
• The maximum length is 10 characters.

Tips & Techniques

• It is suggested that a naming convention be developed for access route names. For example, the first 3 letters may indicate the current table definition, the next 3 indicate the name of the table being accessed, etc.
