Following are some general Windows troubleshooting tips:
Cannot execute install programs
If you are having difficulties executing the LANSA install programs review the following:
- Have you turned off your anti-virus software while running the install?
- Do you have Windows administrator rights?
LANSA Communication Administration and LANSA Configurations
If you are using more than one LANSA Configuration, it is important that you execute the correct LANSA Communications Administrator (LCOADM32.EXE) to configure the correct communications files for the configuration being executed.
You MUST use the shortcut (in the Settings and Administration sub-folder) associated with the correct LANSA Configuration that you want to set up. If you do not execute the proper program, you will probably be editing the wrong configuration file (LROUTE.DAT).
