The steps described in this tutorial will prepare LANSA Integrator Studio so that solutions you build with it can be deployed to your LANSA Composer server.

You only need to perform these steps once after installing LANSA Composer client.  You do not need to repeat them if you have done them before.

  1. Open LANSA Integrator Studio from the Tools menu within the LANSA Composer client program.  Right-click on Servers and select New Server from the popup menu.
  2.  In the resulting dialogue, enter the URL necessary to address the LANSA Integrator (JSM) administrator port on your LANSA Composer server.  This will consist of the DNS name of your server (for example, LANSA01), followed by a colon, and the LANSA Integrator (JSM) administrator port number in use on your LANSA Composer server.  Click OK when complete.
If you do not know the port number, open LANSA Composer, select System Settings, and then click the System Information tab.  The port number will be shown there.  Note that the port number you must use in this context is the second of the LANSA Integrator port numbers – the admin port.
  3. In the next window, type a name that you can use in the future to recognize this server, and click OK.
