Think outside the '5250 square'.
Using wrappers, it is relatively easy to source data from your IBM i database directly and display it on the wrapper panel along with 5250 sourced data. You are no longer locked into just what the 5250 form contains.
For example, you might add new data not present on the underpinning 5250 form, or you might replace hard to access page-at-a-time scrollable subfile data by accessing the IBM i data base tables involved directly.
