To define instances in the PMDB

  • On the server on which Precise FocalPoint is installed, run the following command from the <i3_root> directory:
    • Windows
      products\pw\bin\install_instance.bat
    • UNIX
      ./products/pw/bin/install_instance.sh

To view all defined instances

  • On the server on which Precise FocalPoint is installed, run the following command from the <i3_root> directory:
    • Windows
      products\pw\bin\view_instance.bat
    • UNIX
      ./products/pw/bin/view_instance.sh
