VLF-ONE Before You Start: IBM i User Profile and Library List Considerations

You must use a valid IBM i user profile.

2. 

The user profile chosen must have the LANSA program library in its initial library list.

3. 

It is highly recommended that the profile gets the standard IBM i Main Menu screen displayed when it logs on.

4. 

Quickly test the user profile before starting the tutorials:
Start a 5250 session with your IBM i and sign in.
In the command line, type:
lansa run df_ramp partition(<ppp>)
where  ppp is the partition initialized with the VLF.
