There are several methods of launching the Query Builder within Aqua Data Studio:
- Press [Ctrl + Alt + Q] (or [Cmd + Alt + Q] in OSX).
- Click the Query Builder button icon in the Main Application Button Toolbar.
- Select [Query Builder > New], [Query Builder > Open], or [Query Builder > Open Recent] within the Main Application Menu.
- Choose [File > Open] and select a .xqb or .qbw file.
- Right-click within the Schema Browser on a Registered Server node or subnode and select [Query Builder] from the right click context menu.
Each of these will open the Query Builder, however, the last method will automatically connect to the registered server you right clicked, instantly giving you access to that object's database, schema and tables with the user login already set in its server connection properties.
