The Cross Server Login Check report helps you to check all SQL Servers, Azure SQL Database, and Amazon RDS for SQL Server instances where a selected user has access.
Recommendation
Consider granting the minimum rights and privileges to individual users to enhance security. This report helps you identify all SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Amazon RDS for SQL Server instances where a SQL Login has been created, as well as accounts that only have access via group memberships.
Getting Started
Follow these steps to create a report:
- Select the Date, Policy, and Baseline options from the Report Settings box.
- Select a target instance.
- Choose the type of Login.
- Type or browse for the User name.
- Click the View Report button to generate your report.
