The Alerts tab allows you to select what action you want SQL defrag manager to perform when certain events occur.

Select to notify by email or event log when certain conditions for the associated policy are met.
Email Options
Check the appropriate box to send email alerts to the default or specified recipients.
How do I set my default email configuration?
Click Configure next to the Send email alerts to the default email recipient option. You can type the STMP server address and port, and select whether you want email messages sent using HTML formatting. If your email server requires authentication, make sure you have the user name and password available before configuration.
