There may be times when you want to capture the state of your Workbook for sharing without using [Save As] so you can continue working in the same file. You can do so with [File > Export Packaged Workbook]. This creates a .vizx file and saves it.
As with Save As Packaged Workbook, you will be prompted to choose whether or not you wish to extract data that has not yet been extracted to include in the Packaged Workbook.
If you need to share with someone who does not have access to your Data Sources, generate an extract of your data first, then create a packaged workbook to share.
After you've made your choice you will be prompted to name the .vizx file.
Name the file and click [Save] and you can continue working.
