There are several methods of launching the Query Builder within Aqua Data Studio:
- Press [Ctrl + Alt + Q] (or [Cmd + Alt + Q] in OSX).
- Click the Query Builder button icon in the Main Application Button Toolbar.
- Select [Query Builder > New], [Query Builder > Open], or [Query Builder > Open Recent] within the Main Application Menu.
- Choose [File > Open] and select a .xqb or .qbw file.
- Right-click within the Schema Browser on a Registered Server node or subnode and select [Query Builder] from the right-click context menu.
Each of these will open the Query Builder, however, the last method will automatically connect to the registered server you right-clicked, instantly giving you access to that object's database, schema, and tables with the user login already set in its server connection properties.
