Aqua Data Studio is designed to make its users more efficient by automating and scripting the most common tasks Database Developers and Database Analysts perform on a daily basis. Within the Main Application Toolbar there is a menu specifically dedicated to automation - Automate. It is possible to Automate Adding Insert, Update, Delete and Select statements, Introducing Columns and Value Stubs, Morphing to Delimited Text, Formatting Statements and Scripts, Auto Completing objects, and scripting Aqua Commands.
The Automate menu commands dramatically reduce the time it takes to write and format scripts. When Aqua Commands are written, it is possible to script a set of queries to a database, generate a chart from the query, save it as an Excel spreadsheet with an embedded chart, and email the spreadsheet with refreshed data as a scheduled task in the operating system.
