The following steps describe how to validate metadata in RED.
After successfully installing WhereScape RED, open the RED Windows installation directory, and double-click the RedMetadataValidate.exe application to launch the Metadata Validate Wizard.
When the previous window finishes loading, the Connect to repository screen displays. Click the drop-down to select the Data Source Name. Enter your credentials, User Name, and Password to validate your connection, the Connection String populates automatically after the validation. Click Next.
RED starts to validate metadata.
After the validation, the confirmation message for your successful validation will appear. Click Finish to close the dialog, otherwise, click Restart to start over.
