Change the IDERA Newsfeed and SQLDM Mobile service credentials

You can specify a different Windows account or SQL login for the SQLDM Mobile and Newsfeed service to use when connecting to the Repository database. Ensure that the account or the login meets the permissions requirements.

To specify new SQLDM Mobile & Newsfeed Service credentials:

1. Start the IDERA Newsfeed Platform Manager console.
2. Click the Repository tab.
3. Under Connection, input the following settings:
   • Choose the type of authentication.
   • Specify the user name (for a Windows account, type domain\username).
   • Specify the password.
4. Click Save.
