Some SQL Server instances allow you to login in more methods than the Windows Authentication one. The Mixed Mode Authentication report shows all SQL Server instances where you have more than the Windows Authentication login method.
Warning
This report does not apply to Azure SQL Database and Amazon RDS for SQL Server instances.
Recommendation
To ensure the SQL Server environment security, avoid Mixed Mode Authentication. Otherwise, remember to increase the password security level for sa and other logins when using the mixed mode authentication.
Getting Started
Follow these steps to create a report:
- Select the Date, Policy, and Baseline options from the Report Settings box.
- Select a target instance.
- Click the View Report button to generate your report.
