The TOP SQL STATEMENTS shows the list of SQL Statements, the Total in DB, the number of Executions, and the Database.

When you click on any of the Statements, SQL Workload Analysis redirects you to the statement page. On the left side of the screen you can find the list of SQL Statements and you can select any one of them to obtain detailed information.

In the main view of this page you find the following information:

  • SUMMARY – This box displays the Av. Time of the statement, the number of Executions, the Total in DB, the Physical Reads, the Logical reads, and the Recompiles.
  • FINDINGS AND NEXT STEPS

The Findings and Next steps box describes each finding or action, the severity of each and color coded. Click Examine to have more information on the finding or action. Also, click the View Execution Plan button to review the EXECUTION PLAN which is listed by Operator name, followed by the Object Name column, the Cost Column, CPU Cost column, IO Cost column, Returned Rows column, Table Cardinality column, Warnings column, and Parallel column.

  • TOTAL IN DB TRENDING
  • TOP ACCESSED OBJECTS

This box displays the accessed Objects. Each object shows more information in the followed columns Total in DB and Database.

  • TOP LOGINS

In this box you find the list of Logins. Each Login listed row displays the User, the Total in DB, and the number of Executions.

  • TOP MACHINES

In this box you find the list of Machines. Each Machine listed row displays the Program, the Total in DB, and the number of Executions.
