3. Task: LANSA Open Setup on IBM i

LANSA Open is 'middleware' or software that facilitates the high-speed transfer of information and data between PC-based client applications and an IBM i server using LANSA.
Before you can run LANSA Open, you must have:

  • LANSA for i software loaded on the IBM i.
  • A LANSA Open license installed on the IBM i.
  • LANSA Open software installed on the workstation.
