You are here:

LANSA Open Validation Message: "No file found . . ."

If you receive a LANSA Open Validation Message dialog which states "No file definition found with full or partial name," then you have not imported the LWEBSF save file into the partition. Check that you have specified the correct partition in the log on screen. For more details, refer to Enable Partition for WAM development in the Web Administration Guide.
You may have missed importing the LWEBSF save file if you have:

  • recently upgraded your LANSA system and you have not re-imported the LWEBSF into a partition. In this case, the Web Administrator cannot execute. You must import LWEBSF into each partition that uses the Web.
  • applied a Web EPC. Check the EPC instructions to see if the LWEBSF save file needs to be re-imported.

Also check that the initial library list of the connecting user's job description is in the sequence QTEMP, QGPL and DC@PGMLIB.
