Perform these steps to configure RAMP in the Framework:
Enable RAMP in the Framework
Set up SuperServer Session
Specify RAMP-TS Server Details
The ability to customize device names in aXes is intended to allow users to disconnect and reconnect 5250 sessions using predictable device names. In RAMP, reconnecting a session makes no sense because the 5250 sessions need to terminate.
We strongly recommend against using the aXes rename feature with RAMP or using any job DEVRCYACN options that can result in suspended 5250 job disconnections rather than 5250 a job termination.
