To register an icon use the New command.
The New icon dialog is displayed:

  • Specify the Name and Description of the icon that is to be registered. For details, refer to Component Definitions in the Technical Reference Guide.
  • When the required details have been specified, click Create to create the new icon.

You do not create an icon using Visual LANSA, but record the location of the icon in the Details tab. To open the Details tab for icons, use the Views command in the ribbon and select Details.
