If you save your Results to an Excel, dBase or MS Access file, and if your data contains a date or time, you can specify whether you want the dates or times saved as text/numeric or in a date or time format.
The format that is to be used can be set as a default by the LANSA Client Administrator as described in the the LANSA Client Administrator Guide:
- Create a LANSA Client Environment or
- it can be overridden using the Date Time Formats command on the Format menu.
Note: The setting required must be specified before the query is executed.
