Mandatory.

Specify the label associated with the field stored.  The field label text will be used as the default field label text on screens and reports generated by LANSA.

Rules

  • Maximum length is 15.
  • A field label must be entered for each language defined for the partition.

Platform Considerations

  • IBM i:   Use of CUA standards for identification are recommended.
