Known issues in version 11.0

Alerts

The Forecast alert generates a report as expected, but SQL Diagnostic Manager does not show other predictions along with the percentage values.

When a job exceeds the time limit, the Alert on long-running job raises. If the job is stopped, completed, or canceled the alert is deactivated.

Deadlock Alert Notification does not work as expected since it is not possible to configure it.

Blocking alerts are not working as expected.

When SQL Diagnostic Manager exports an alert response and imports it to another server, the SMTP action item and the recipient access are not imported.

Performance

SQLdm Extended event sessions use more resources than expected, impacting other servers.

SQL Diagnostic Manager performance is somehow slow while opening.

SQL Diagnostic Manager 12.0 only supports specific alerts for Azure PaaS and Managed Instances.

Upgrade

SQLdm management service repeatedly stops when upgrading from SQL Diagnostic Manager 11.0.3 to 11.1.6.

Notifications

After applying the recommendations of the Recommendations are Available alert and refreshing the alerts view, SQL Diagnostic Manager keeps showing this alert.

Database

The dbo.DatabaseFiles only shows the Drive Letter in the DriveName column, hiding the mount point.

Reports

SQL Diagnostic Manager cannot get data and alert for Report block when Enabled Blocking is enabled in Activity monitor.

Cloud Monitoring 

Azure Vulnerability Assessment Scan flags SQL Diagnostic Manager as UNSAFE but this does not represent a further issue with the ce
