3.5.10 Derivation

Mandatory.

Specify whether you want Predetermined Join Column (PJC) values to be derived before or after the virtual column values are derived.
Default=After virtual columns.

Rules

Allowable values are:

  • Before virtual columns
  • After virtual columns

Tips & Techniques

  • This option allows a Predetermined Join Column to be used in deriving a virtual column or a virtual column to be used as a key to a table accessed for Predetermined Join Columns.
