The hint (ToolTip) is a small popup window that provides descriptive text, such as a label, for a component. They are set using the Hint property of a component.
To make it easier for the user to learn your application, make sure that every control that needs explanation has a meaningful ToolTip. This is especially important if the control does not contain a caption, or if the caption is an icon.
