LANSA is a system that can create, review, change or delete any of the following types of "object":
- Models
Logical models of the information that your organization stores and uses. Typically fields and files are created as physical representations of a logical data model. - Fields
The smallest physical element that can be defined. Typically a field is a discrete piece of information such as an invoice number, a date, a part number, etc. - Files
A set of records. Each record is a group of related fields. - Processes and their associated Functions
Programs used to define the method used to store, update, delete, display, print and manipulate information stored in files.
