The Database Chaining Enabled shows how all SQL Server instances with cross-database ownership chaining enabled.
Warning
This report does not apply to Azure SQL Database instances. In Amazon RDS instances, it allows for cross-database chaining via a Parameter option.
Recommendation
The Cross-database chaining security feature implies an increased security risk. Consider disabling it on all servers when it is not needed.
Getting Started
Follow these steps to create a report:
- Select the Date, Policy, and Baseline options from the Report Settings box.
- Click the View Report button to generate your report.
