When background processes are running, a busy image will be displayed in the right corner of the status bar, as shown in the following screenshot:

  • Click on the spool to display the Processes dialog that lists all the running background processes, as shown in the following screenshot:

Tip

Multiple source systems can be discovered or profiled simultaneously, as in the example below:

  • When certain processes are running, profiling for example, it is possible to hide the progress dialog by clicking on the Hide button. This enables you to continue working in 3D while the profiling runs in the background.

  • If you try to close 3D while a process is running, the following dialog will be displayed:

    • Selecting Yes will close the 3D application, but it will become a tray icon until the profiling is complete.
    • Selecting No will end the profiling process.
    • Selecting Cancel will leave 3D open and the profiling process will continue to run.
