Connect | Click to connect to the connection. This item is not shown if the connection is already connected. Note If the connection is locked, refer to Unlocking a Connection for unlocking instructions. |
Disconnect | Click to disconnect from a connection. This item is not shown if the connection is not connected and is disabled if the connection is a local Host connection. |
Query | Click to open a Query Tab for running arbitrary queries directly on the connection. This item is not shown if the connection is a Host connection. |
Refresh | Click to refresh the connection content shown in the tree. |
Show or hide schemas | Allows you to select which schemas in the connection are shown in the tree. This item is not shown if the connection is a Host connection. Refer to Showing or Hiding Schemas for details. |
Copy connection | Click to create a new connection with the same settings as the selected connection. Refer to Copying a Connection for details. |
Move up | Click to move the connection up one position in the tree. Tip This is disabled if the connection is at the top of the tree or is the only connection. |
Move down | Click to move the connection down one position in the tree. Tip This is disabled if the connection is at the bottom of the tree or is the only connection |
Export | Select one of the following options:

Rename | Click to enter a new name for the connection. Refer to Renaming a Connection for details. |
Delete connection | Click to disconnect and stop referencing the current connection. Any source systems that reference this connection must be deleted first. Refer to Deleting a Connection for details. |
Trace Connection usage | Click to generate a schematic source usage mapping for the selected schema. Refer to Tracing Usage for details. |
Enter user documentation | Displays a dialog for entering custom documentation for the connection. Refer to Documentation Settings for details. |
Information | Displays information about the connection and the driver it is using. Refer to Displaying Connection Information for details. |
Properties | Displays the Edit Connection dialog. Refer to Creating a Connection for details. |
