When using Db2 for LUW in DB Change Manager, the synchronization script now applies the appropriate order to be more efficient.

Updates stored procedures functionality when using Redshift

Redshift users of DBArtisan and Rapid SQL can take advantage of stored procedures which are now added to allow parameter nodes. You now can route these particular requests through the nodes if it satisfies the predicate, allowing more control for the user.

DB PowerStudio 18.5 adds support for the following database versions:

DBArtisan and Rapid SQL now include native Git version control. You must have Git installed on the system where you want to use DB PowerStudio to utilize the native Git version control functionality.

  • check in a file or project
  • get history logs of files

Improves multiple areas within DBArtisan and Rapid SQL

DB PowerStudio 18.3 includes updates to the following areas within DBArtisan and Rapid SQL:

  • Extraction operations on roles for PostgreSQL allows users to have higher control over their data security.
  • Handling procedures with cascaded parameters on Redshift provides additional usage options with those parameters.
  • Connections to Azure SQL using multi-factor authentication provides more secure access.
  • Connections to PostgreSQL via Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) provides native connectivity for quicker access.
  • Reordering columns for Data Definition Language (DLL) validation allows the flexibility to rerun or reuse in scripts.

Improves multiple areas within DB Change Manager

  • Validation of Dump Devices, Linked Servers, Remote Servers and Server Triggers on Azure enables higher quality of those features.
