Connect to the SQL Safe Backup Repository with the OIDC Authentication Method. Specify the following:

  • Nickname for your Okta or Entra ID provider.
  • Authority (URL of the OIDC provider).
  • Client ID and Client Secret credentials to Login. Find them here for Okta or Entra ID.

    If the token expires, the next time you login, a new token will be generated automatically.


  • Click on the  button to make your Client Secret visible.
  • Keep in mind that you can Logout whenever you want from the same wizard. 
  • Upon authentication, the Authenticated or Not Authenticated sign appears in the wizard.
  • Once authenticated, the Required checkbox will be available to change if you want to disable OIDC.

    If you enable/disable the OIDC, you will enable/disable it for all users of this repository.
