In virtualized environment with Hyper-V, the process of how SQL Diagnostic Manager collects and presents metrics is slightly different from that of a VMware setup. To successfully collect Hyper-V host metrics, user needs access to the WMI credentials on the host server. These credentials are established under OS Metrics > Properties.
In addition, to successfully collect VM metrics, user needs access to the WMI credentials on the VM. These credentials are established under Tools > VM Configuration .
