Users can deploy Chargeback reports 


Chargeback report for managed instances and databases

You can view the following information on the Chargeback  Report:
    • Instance Name

    • SQL Version

    • SQL Edition

    • Owner

    • Data Center/Location

    • Hostname

    • VM Vendor

    • Model

    • Operating System

    • OS Version

    • Physical Cores

    • Logical Cores

    • Physical Memory

    • CPU Name

    • CPU Speed

    • Clustered

    • Total Size of Disks for Instance

    • Database Count

    • Total Database Size

    • Disk Percent Used by Databases

      • The percentage value of Total Database Size / Total Size of Disks

    • Custom Inventory Fields for Instances

      • Each custom inventory field should be a separate column with the label “Custom Inventory Field” + Numbering and with the name of the field Append to it.  For example, “Custom Inventory Field #1: Department”

      • The value for the specific custom field will be populated for each record

      • If there are no custom fields, then do not populate anything for these columns

    • Tags for Instances

      • This should be a comma separated list of tags, allowed to word wrap

    • For each instance, a collapsible sub-report should be provided with the following per-database information

      • Database Name

      • Database Type (user or system)

      • Data Size

      • Log Size

      • Custom Inventory Fields for Database

        • Each custom inventory field should be a separate column with the label “Custom Inventory Field” + Numbering and with the name of the field Append to it.  For example, “Custom Inventory Field #1: Department”

      • Tags for Database

        • This should be a comma separated list of tags, allowed to word wrap

      • Decommissioned (yes/no)

  • Provide parameters for this report:

    • Instance Tags

    • SQL Server Version

    • Edition

    • This parameters values should be displayed to the user and based on values in user’s repository for these fields.  User can select multiple values for each parameters.  Parameters are optionals.

  • This report should be located in reports directory for  the Deploy Report Utility.
