It is possible to manually/externally update the JRE on an already installed CWF machine.
Steps to update the JAVA 7 patch is as follows:
● Download JRE patch 80 tar.gz file
● Extract the zip using unzip tools such as 7zip etc
● The extracted jre folder will contain bin and lib folder along with other individual files
● Copy all the contents of the extracted file
● Open Services window and stop IderaDashboardCoreServices and
IderaDashboardWebApplicationServices
● Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Idera\Dashboard\WebApplication\JRE"
● Paste the copied contents here in the JRE folder. On prompt to replace files. Click yes copy and
replace files.
● Open services window and start IderaDashboardCoreServices and
IderaDashboardWebApplicationServices
