The IDERA Dashboard runs with Java SE Runtime Environment 7.
To manually update the Java SE Runtime Environment on a machine where you installed the IDERA Dashboard, follow the steps below:
- Download JRE patch 80 tar.gz file
- Extract the zip using unzip tools such as 7zip etc
- The extracted jre folder will contain bin and lib folder along with other individual files
- Copy all the contents of the extracted file
- Open Services window and stop IderaDashboardCoreServices and
- IderaDashboardWebApplicationServices
- Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Idera\Dashboard\WebApplication\JRE"
- Paste the copied contents here in the JRE folder. On prompt to replace files. Click yes copy and
- replace files.
- Open services window and start IderaDashboardCoreServices and
- IderaDashboardWebApplicationServices
